Free Agent SAM SODJE Hopes To Remain In England
Published: May 30, 2012
Sodje was Thomas Ince's first signing in November 2010. The goalscoring center back joined the Magpies on a two-year deal.
''I left Notts County at the end of the season. Right now there are offers on the table from England and overseas which my agent is studying. We shall make a decision soon. But I want to remain in England,'' Sodje told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
The out of favor Super Eagles player has tipped Nigeria to beat Namibia silly when both teams meet in a World Cup qualifier on Sunday in Calabar.
''I see us winning by a healthy scoreline. The players - home based and foreign professionals - know what is at stake. Playing at the World Cup is the dream of every professional footballer,'' adds Sodje.
