Espanyol Eager To Keep KALU UCHE
Published: June 07, 2012
The Spanish Media including the highly authoritative AS.com has predicted that Nigeria international Kalu Uche will remain at Barcelona based outfit Espanyol.
In fact, Uche has been tipped to be the main striker next season following the imminent exit of Walter Pandiani, álvaro Vázquez, Rui Fonte and Ben Sahar.
The performance of Uche in La Liga has not gone unnoticed by clubs in Spain and overseas. But there is no concrete offer from clubs interested in his services, so he is likely to continue his adventure with Espanyol.
Despite joining the club in February, Uche ended this past season as Espanyol's most potent forward, scoring 6 goals in 15 games.
