Official: ANTHONY NWAKAEME Joins Petrolul Ploiesti

Romanian Liga I side Petrolul Ploiești have officially announced the arrival of the 23-year-old Nigerian forward Anthony Nwakaeme. The duration of the contract was not disclosed by Petrolul Ploiești.
Anthony Nwakaeme, whose elder brother Dickson plays in the Vietnamese League, spent last season at Universitatea Cluj, helping the club to seventh position on the log, with 7 goals in 28 matches.
Petrolul Ploiești start pre-season training on Thursday, June 14. From June 30-July 13, the squad is in Austria, where some test games have been scheduled in preparation for the new season.
