Fenerbahce: EMMANUEL EMENIKE Not Returning
Published: June 12, 2012
Various reports in Turkey and Russia had suggested that Spartak Moscow forward Emmanuel Emenike would be returning to Turkish vice-champions Fenerbahce in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that Spartak Moscow and Fenerbahce had been negotiating a transfer fee for the 25-year-old Nigeria international, and there was a clause in Emenike's contract stipulating that he could return to Fenerbahce for a transfer fee of ten million euros.
A Board Member of the Yellow Canaries Omer Temelli has denied media reports that Emenike is returning to Turkey.
He said on Twitter: ''We are not negotiating for Emenike and the said clause does not exist.''
Last season, Emmanuel Emenike netted 13 goals in 20 starts for Sparkak Moscow, who have qualified to play in the 2012 - 2013 UEFA Champions League.
