SIMON ZENKE Announces Interest From German, French Clubs
Published: June 16, 2012
''For us, last season was a difficult season. And unfortunately, we were relegated at the end of the season. I have a one-year contract left with Samsunspor. Clubs in Germany and France are interested in me, and some teams in Turkey.
''We are now evaluating bids. I have not yet decided the team I want to play for next season. I want to play in Turkey, I love this country,'' the former school-boy international was quoted as saying by turkiyesporgazetesi.com.
Speaking on the Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo, Zenke said: ''Yobo would love the opportunity to continue in Istanbul with Fenerbahce. He will do everything he can to stay in Fenerbahce.''
Zenke has tipped the French National Team to win the ongoing European Championship being staged in Poland and Ukraine.
