Rwanda Coach Admits Superiority Of Eagles
Published: June 17, 2012
Assistant coach of Rwanda, Jean Marie Ntagwabira has admitted the superiority of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Saturday's African Cup of Nations qualifying tie in Calabar.
Goals in each half by Ikechukwu Uche and Ahmed Musa saw Nigeria winning the tie 2-0 on aggregate, and progress to the third round of qualifiers, where 15 countries that qualified from the second round and the finalists from the last African Cup held in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon are drawn together.
''Nigeria is a big team but we manage to hold our own against them, especially in the second half.
''With them playing at home and the experience they have playing at the highest compared to our players, I think they deserve their win. For us, we can only take the positives from such big games,'' Jean Marie Ntagwabira was quoted as saying by New Times Rwanda.
