UANL Tigres Go For KALU UCHE
Published: June 17, 2012
Kalu Uche could continue his career in the Mexican Primera División if transfer speculation trailing him materializes.
Mexican media says the 29-year-old forward is being sought by the Brazilian coach of UANL Tigres, Ricardo Ferreti as a summer reinforcement.
The Tigers are desperately looking for a proven forward to replace Héctor Mancilla, who left the club to join rivals Atlas in the summer transfer market.
''Reinforcements have been sought throughout the world, but I have not made any decisions. We want to make the best decision.
"And all that is mentioned, they can say the names they want, some are good, others I don't know, when I have something I'll tell you, I do not think it would be so soon,'' Ricardo Ferreti told telediario.mx.
Kalu Uche has played for clubs in Poland, Spain, Switzerland and France.
