Central defender Gbenga Arokoyo is inching closer to his first team debut with Swedish club Mjällby AIF.
The youngster, who is presently playing for the reserve team, was an unused substitute in Mjällby's fixtures against Gefle and Syrianska FC in May.

The former Kwara Football Academy player told allnigeriasoccer.com: ''I almost made my debut before the league went on break, but I could not from the bench. I know my time will soon come. I am really working hard to get into the first team.''
Gbenga Arokoyo is under contract with Mjällby AIF until the end of the 2015 season.
