Blackburn Rovers Want More Cash For YAKUBU AIYEGBENI
Published: June 26, 2012
There are no major obstacles preventing the transfer of the prolific Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni to Chinese top flight club Guangzhou R & F.
Reports in China have revealed that negotiations are focused on three aspects: the transfer fee to be paid to Blackburn Rovers , Yakubu Aiyegbeni and Guangzhou R & F.
Negotiations between Yakubu and executives of Guangzhou R & F went on smoothly. The only bottleneck preventing the striker from being unveiled is that Blackburn Rovers are demanding extra cash for their top scorer with 17 goals last season.
''As long as he (Yakubu, ed) meets the coach needs, money is not a problem,'' Vice President of Guangzhou R and F, Lu Yi was quoted as saying by Netease.
Yakubu Aiyegbeni will sign a three-year deal with Guangzhou R & F if the deal materializes.
