JOSEPH YOBO's Transfer Saga Continues
Published: June 30, 2012For the third year running, the transfer of the Nigeria skipper Joseph Yobo to Turkey's heavyweights Fenerbahce won't see the light of day until transfer deadline day, Liverpool Echo has hinted.
Yobo has repeatedly voiced his decision to continue playing for the Yellow Canaries. The English Newspaper is reporting that following internal boardroom squabbles at Everton and Fenerbahce, Yobo would have to wait for close to two months, August 31, before sealing a permanent move to Turkey.
Fenerbahce have a plan B if Yobo's transfer fails to materialize. 23-year-old versatile Uruguay defender Alexis Rolín is being targeted by Coach Aykut Kocaman.
Joseph Yobo's contract with Everton expires at the end of the 2014 season.
