The ex Bendel Insurance star is stalling on renewing his contract with Club Brugge, which has alerted a host of clubs as he could become available at a bargain fee.
FC Copenhagen, now regarded as one of the finest clubs in Scandinavia, are looking for offensive reinforcements. The primary target of coach Ariel Jacobs is the former Ivory Coast youth-teamer Yannick Sagbo. Attention would shift to Akpala if Ariel Jacobs fails to land Sagbo.
