Espanyol Thinking Of Selling KALU UCHE
Published: July 08, 2012
Espanyol CEO Joan Collet says the club is willing to listen to offers for the Nigerian offensive player Kalu Uche, who is reportedly on the radar of clubs in Mexico and Turkey.
Galatasaray, Bursaspor and UANL Tigres are some of the clubs that have expressed interest in having Kalu Uche in their ranks next season.
As it stands, there are no official bids for Kalu Uche. Coach Mauricio Pochettino has no qualms with the departure of Uche.
Kalu Uche's contract with Espanyol runs out at the end of the 2012 - 2013 season. Clearly, Espanyol are trying to cash in to avoid the player leaving as a free agent on expiration of his contract.
The 29-year-old former WisÅa Kraków ace made 11 starts for the Barcelona based outfit last term.
