Werder Bremen Will Challenge Montpellier For JOSEPH AKPALA

Club Brugge forward Joseph Akpala is stalling over signing a new contract with the blue-army. Reportedly available at a bargain fee of 1.5 million euros, clubs hope to capitalize on the transfer situation of the 25-year-old former Bendel Insurance star.
Before now, there were reports linking Akpala with clubs in the United Kingdom (West Ham and West Brom), France (Montpellier) and Danish side FC Copenhagen.
The latest suitor for Akpala, who finished as the top scorer for Club Brugge last term, is Werder Bremen. The Bundesliga club is seriously flirting with the Nigerian, and an official bid could be submitted before the end of the summer transfer market.
