Hapoel Tel Aviv Chase EKIGHO EHIOSUN
Published: July 19, 2012Hapoel tel Aviv are seeking reinforcements in attack and have set sights on the former Warri Wolves forward Ekigho Ehisoun, reports in the Israeli Press suggest.
According to the agent of Ehiosun,, the Nigeria international, who played for Samsunspor in the Turkish top flight last season, fancies a move to the Israeli Cup winners.
''This Nigerian striker scored nine goals last season, and assisted in four goals. He really wants to play with Hapoel Tel Aviv, but everything is about money. His total salary could be up to half a million dollars. If the management of the club can pay that, he will land in Israel tomorrow morning,'' Nir Amir, who represents Ehiosun told one.co.il.
Hapoel Tel Aviv want Ehiosun in attack to replace Toto Tamuz, who is on the wishlist of clubs in Portugal, Switzerland and Romania.
Ehisoun, a physical forward, scored on his international debut seven minutes after coming off the bench against Sierra Leone.
