Real Betis Keen on Hapoel's NOSA IGIEBOR
Published: July 19, 2012
21-year-old former Lillestrom hero Nosa Igiebor could be on his way to the glamorous Spanish League. A report in Israeli newspaper Walla is strongly linking the Nigerian with a summer move to Real Betis.
Hapoel Tel Aviv have started pre - season training. The squad traveled on Tuesday to their training camp in Hungary without the Olympic National Team star.
The official word from the management of the Reds is that Igiebor missed the trip because he did not have a visa. Transfer market experts would suspect Igiebor's exit from Hapoel is confirmed, and the the club does want him injured before he is sold to the Spanish team.
It is understood that Hapoel Tel Aviv have quoted to Real Betis the sum of 800, 000 euros as transfer fee for Nosa Igiebor, but the Israeli vice - champions will retain ownership of half of the player's card.
Igiebor's agent, Atta Aneke had previously told allnigeriasoccer.com that he had suitors in Russia, Holland and Israel. As things stand, the club in pole position for Igiebor, who is under contract with Hapoel until June 2015, is Real Betis.
