PETER UTAKA Flies To Belgium To See Baby Girl
Published: July 24, 2012
As reported by Netease Sports, two-goal hero in last weekend's Chinese Super League tie between Dalian Aerbin and Shandong Luneng, Peter Utaka flew to Belgium on Sunday to visit his wife, who had given birth to a baby girl last week.
The management of Dalian Aerbin had given Utaka permission to undertake the 11-hour trip to Belgium. However, the Nigeria international must return to the club before Saturday's away match with Liaoning Whowin.
Peter Utaka's wife had lived with him in China. His initial plan was for her to have the baby in the Asian country, in a good hospital approved by Dalian Aerbin.
Utaka's busy schedule, especially when he's out of town for away fixtures, made him change that decision, so his wife had to return to Belgium.
With 10 goals in 18 matches, the 28 - year - old forward is the third highest goalscorer in China's top flight.
