Published: July 30, 2012
Nigeria international Taye Taiwo has joined Dynamo Kiev, Ukraine on loan for the rest of the 2012 - 2013 season, subject to a traditional medical examination, the official website of the Ukrainian vice - champions has disclosed.
Speaking to the BBC on his move to Dynamo Kiev, Taiwo said : ''It was a dream to move to AC Milan but to be honest I never had the chance to show what I am capable of doing but that is life.
"I chose to come to Dynamo Kiev because of the opportunity to play in the Uefa Champions League and also to experience a new life. It was very important to consider my international career and I took this decision with that in mind."
According to media reports in Italy, Dynamo Kiev have parted with 500, 000 euros to borrow Taiwo from AC Milan. This is not a 'dry loan agreement'. At the end of the season, the capital side can buy the 27- year -old wing back outright for a bargain fee of 2 million euros.
