Exclusive - Agent: We Will Not Accept For NOSA IGIEBOR To Be Cheated!
Published: August 03, 2012
Nosa Igiebor's proposed move to Real Betis is far from conclusion, Norwegian - Nigerian agent Atta Aneke who manages the Hapoel Tel Aviv midfielder has exclusively revealed to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Last week, Hapoel Tel Aviv and Real Betis reportedly agreed a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros for the former Warri Wolves ace. Igiebor could have signed a three - year deal with the Seville based club had he accepted the financial terms of the contract.
'' There is no update, no new talks with Real Betis for now. Nosa Igiebor wants to play for them but not with the terms he is being offered. He is not greedy, as he is not asking for € 1 million or even remotely close. We will not accept for him to be cheated.
''Betis can not offer him the same wages he is earning with Hapoel. Meanwhile, his future teammates in Betis will be making at least double that figure they are proposing,'' Atta Aneke told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Based on the pronouncement of Atta Aneke, Real Betis must increase their financial offer to Igiebor if they want to land the youngster's signature. He is believed to command annual wages of about € 400, 000 presently.
