Published: August 08, 2012
One - cap Nigeria international Ugochukwu Ukah is currently undergoing tests with Championship side Crystal Palace. Ukah has been club hunting since May when he terminated his contract with Widzew Åódź.
The 30- year - old center-back had previously stated he would love a switch to a club in England where his family resides. Ukah has until Wednesday to impress Eagles gaffer Dougie Freedman before he is offered a contract.
There is a deal waiting for him to sign at Polish club Polonia Warsaw. He would fall back on that if his England dreams turns out to be an illusion.
Ugochukwu Ukah did undergo tests with Hapoel Be'er Sheva in July, but could not agree personal terms with the Israeli club which has Austin Ejide on its payroll.
