Panthrakikos Fail With Bid For KABIRU AKINSOLA
Published: August 08, 2012
Granada, Spain have rebuffed at least two enquiries from Greek club Panthrakikos for the services of the former Under 17 World champion Kabiru Akinsola.
The Greek club had tabled a bid for the 21 - year - old striker last week, but failed to meet his valuation. Panthrakikos also received a negative response when they tried to sign the Nigerian youngster on loan.
Kabiru impressed while on loan last season at Cadiz, netting 13 times in 37 games. Now he has returned to Granada, who originally own him.
Coach Juan Antonio Anquela does not have Akinsola in his plans for this coming season, so the club is doing everything possible to sell him at the right price to interested clubs.
