RILWAN HASSAN Targets Aalborg Return
Published: August 12, 2012
FCM Midtjylland's young Nigerian winger Rilwan Hassan on the advice of club doctors did not take part in the Wolves surprise 1-2 defeat to OB Odense at TRE-FOR Park last Friday.
Now, the 21-year-old is in a race against the clock to be fit for this weekend's clash against Aalborg, a game which corresponds to the sixth round of matches in the Danish championship.
''That is very correct. I did not play our match against OB because I was nursing an injury. I have this hamstring injury which I picked up against AC Horsens in our third game on the 27th of July. Since then I have been playing because the doctors did not think it was something serious.
'' I am working very hard to get back to play as soon as possible, and I am hopeful of returning to the pitch in our next game against AaB, '' Hassan told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Rilwan Hassan, FCM's current Young Player of the Year, has suited four times in Denmark's top division this season.
