Rilwan Hassan has struggled with problems with the rear of his thigh and has missed the last two games for FC Midtjylland.
The injury is not too serious and coach Glen Riddarholmen hopes that the offensive player may play a role in the Europe League match against Young Boys on Thursday.
''Rilwan has a small tear in one of the tendons, which means that there was still too much risk for him to play on Friday, so he was not in the squad. We hope that he can play a role on Thursday against Young Boys. But it is important that we not forcing anything, '' says Riddarholmen to bold.dk.
Hassan has scored once this season in the Super Liga, the goal came against current champions FC Nordsjælland in July.
