UGOCHUKWU UKAH Ready For League Debut
Published: August 23, 2012
Ugochukwu Ukah is ready to make his debut for Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok in Friday's home match against Górnik Zabrze.
The central defender trialed with Hapoel Be'er Sheva and Crystal Palace this summer. The tests failed to produce results. Ukah is not disappointed and is happy he signed a two - year contract with Jagiellonia.
'' I hope that I will play, but it is the decision of the coach. I'm ready . After last season in Widzew rested for three weeks. Then I started to train individually.
''I trained with teams - two weeks in Poland with Hapoel Beer Sheva and before coming to Bialystok in England with Crystal Palace. I played in the preseason. They showed good form. I'm ready to go out on the pitch and I know what awaits me,'' Ukah told sport.pl.
Rated one of the best defenders in the Polish championship, Ukah spent the previous five seasons with Widzew Lodz, scoring 2 goals in 113 official appearances.
