He told punchng.com : ''I give God the glory for making it possible for me because the Russian league is very difficult. Really, it was difficult for me at the beginning but I was able to settle down quickly with the help of my teammates and fans. They showed me love, they believed in me, and they gave me confidence on the pitch.
''So I summoned courage and that was when the goals started coming. It was a good season. Qualifying for the Champions League play-offs was the highest point of the season. But I want some trophies in my cabinet. ''
Since arriving from Fenerbahçe, Emenike has netted 14 goals in 28 appearances for one of Russia's most successful club.
