AMUNEKE's Coach Seeks Big Job

AMUNEKE's Coach Seeks Big Job An old teammate of former African Player of The Year, Emmanuel Amuneke and coach of the ex-international’s now defunct youth club, Soccer Warriors of Lagos, Anthony Onuoha (Chief) has expressed a strong desire to hook a top job before the year runs its full course.

Speaking in an exclusive dialogue with allnigeriasocccer.com from his current base in Aba, Abia State, the former versatile player said he has been trying to pick up the pieces of his career all this while, but admitted that it has not been easy trying to make ends meet.

Aside a very busy and expository spell with Soccer Warriors in the erstwhile National Amateur League, Onuoha also has a velvety roll call of outings with other top youth clubs like AMBEK International, Vejle Football Academy and National Grassroots Dream.

Dramatically, the man who groomed the like of Kelvin Onyekachi Amuneke, Kingsley ‘Seseh’ Ekeh, Philip Chidi Onyemah and many others, recently returned to Nigeria, after spending about three years in Germany, as he went in search of the Golden Fleece, but the Abia State-born player-turned-tactician admits that he is yet to reach the Promised Land.

“I have been tolling night and day in Aba, trying to see if I can stabilize myself here, but it is not easy at all,” Coach Onuoha stated on telephone.

“That’s why I am thinking about returning to Lagos in the coming days. My target is to find one of those clubs that are currently in the lower division. I know that I am capable of doing well with any club that is available.”
