EJIKE UZOENYI Misses Marseille Deal

The hierarchy at French powerhouse Marseille did not offer Enugu Rangers exciting winger Ejike Uzoenyi a contract after undergoing tests, Sports Radio station RMC has broadcasted.

On Thursday, there were speculations at home and abroad that Uzoenyi would be offered a deal by the 1993 European champions. But after waiting all evening to know his fate, the 20 - year - old was told the unfavorable news by the leaders of Les Phocéens.

Previously, Uzoenyi tested with Esperance, Tromsø and Panionios but nothing came out of those tests.

The Nigeria international has returned to the Super Eagles camp in Abuja.
