Adana Demirspor Snap Up Kano Pillars GAMBO MOHAMMED ?
Published: September 02, 2012
Kano Pillars leading scorer in the domestic championship Gambo Mohammed is on the verge of signing a one - year loan deal with Turkish second - tier club Adana Demirspor.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Mohammed did impress at trials at Samsunpor but was not offered a contract because he failed to agree personal terms with The Red Lightning.
Following Samsunspor's relegation from the top flight at the end of last season, there is a drop in revenue and the club is reportedly facing a financial crisis.
Adana Demirspor's first choice was the Sunshine Stars forward Izu Azuka. The Super Eagle, who had been expected in Turkey on August 21, asked for a lot of money as wages and signing on fee which could not be met by Adana Demirspor.
The club management waited for him in vain, and turned their attention to Gambo Mohammed.
