Updated - Exclusive : CHIKELUBA OFOEDU Pens Short Term Contract With 1461 Trabzon

Enugu Rangers forward Chikeluba Ofoedu on Wednesday signed a short term contract (with option for a further two years on expiration) with Turkish club 1461 Trabzon, a source close to the player has told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The contract signed by the 20 - year - old talent is subject to the player receiving his International Transfer Certificate from the Nigeria Federation. Also, Coal City outfit Enugu Rangers must rubber-stamp the player's move to the 14 - year - old club based in the Black Sea region.
It would be recalled that Ofoedu tested with Norwegian powerhouse Rosenborg BK in June but was not offered a contract. Previously, the Under 20 National Team invitee had been linked with teams in North Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
Dubbed the 'New Obafemi Martins' , Ofoedu bagged 12 goals for Enugu Rangers in the 2012 season.
