BROWN IDEYE: Always A Pleasure Playing At Parc des Princes
Published: September 17, 2012
Dynamo Kiev striker Brown Ideye has netted three times in the preliminary rounds of the Champions League. Against PSG on Tuesday, the former Sochaux player could add to his tally, but has warned the rest of his teammates to be wary of the French team.
''This team has a special place in French football. The Club and the past represented the formidable force. Now, after a significant increase of the Parisians, generally can count on a lot of things. But we believe in ourselves and we do not intend to give in,'' Ideye told the official website of Dynamo Kiev.
Speaking on the magnificent Parc des Princes, the venue of tomorrow's tie, Ideye said: '' A football arena with unique aura. Playing in the French championship, I was just going out on the lawn of the stadium. Play on it - always a pleasure. I hope this will be the case this time.''
Dynamo Kiev departed Ukraine for the French capital on Sunday with a squad of 22 players. Missing from the roster is Nigerian defender Yussuf Ayila who is nursing an injury.
