SANI EMMANUEL Racing To Be Fit For Arzanese Game
Published: September 19, 2012
Sani Emmanuel, one of the revelations of the Fifa Under 17 World Cup hosted by Nigeria three years ago, has been sent on loan by Lazio to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione B club Salernatina.
The 19 - year -old forward made his league debut for last season's Serie D champions on September 8 in the 1 - 4 loss to Chieti. A week later he was an unused substitute against Aversa Normanna.
Emmanuel's availability for the next round of games in Italy's fourth - tier is still covered in mist. Giuseppe Galderisi, coach of Salernatina, is working on the fitness of the Nigeria youth - teamer, who is suffering from inflammation of the bursa.
Seyi Adeleke, a defender, is the other Nigerian player at Salernatina. Primarily a Lazio player, he has not featured in the league this campaign.
