AHMED MUSA Criticized By CSKA Moscow Teammates
Published: September 22, 2012
So far the former record goalscorer in Nigeria's top division has netted three goals in his last four matches in the Russian championship including Saturday's winner at Volga.
For all his running, Ahmed Musa's goals in the Premier League could have been more, but he has been ineffective sometimes in attack. Serbian teammate Zoran TošiÄ screamed , screamed and screamed at Musa when he missed a golden opportunity to level the game against Volga on 37 minutes.
The Super Eagle has responded to the criticism of TošiÄ and the rest of his colleagues in his post match comments to Russian Media.
''I do not mind when they swear, all the players are my friends. I just try to score as much as possible. The match with Volga was very difficult, but the main thing is that we won, and I was involved in this. I think that CSKA can become the champion!'' Musa told Sport Express Russia.
CSKA Moscow provisionally top the standings in Russia with 21 points from nine matches.
