CHIKELUBA OFOEDU Nets Brace For 1461 Trabzon

1461 Trabzon top the Turkish first division after Sunday's 2 - 1 victory over Adanaspor. Former Enugu Rangers forward Chikeluba Ofoedu netted a brace for the home team.

Ofoedu was a second half replacement for Mustafa Tiryaki, and he did not waste time in registering his first goal in Turkey.

His well placed shot on 57 minutes beat Zülküf in goal for Adanaspor to tie the game 1-1. Eight minutes later,  1461 Trabzon had a corner kick and the 19 - year -old was the quickest player to react to give his team a 2 - 1 advantage.

Chikeluba Ofoedu signed a one - season deal with 1461 Trabzon in September.
