JOHN CHIBUIKE Disappointed With Loss To BrannNorwegian giants Rosenborg hope of overtaking current champions Molde in the league standings has suffered a temporary setback. On Sunday, playing away at Brann in the 23rd round of matches, they lost 1 - 2 .

John Chibuike had given RBK the lead ten minutes after the interval only for the Europa League campaigners to concede two late, late goals within four minutes of regulation time left.

''Even though I scored, I am disappointed we lost the game. We had the match under control until the final minutes. That is football for you.

''If we had scored a second goal, there was no way SK Brann could have recovered to snatch the three points,'' Chibuike, who has scored five goals in all competitions this term, told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation on Sunday evening.

Before the start of the Tippeligaen last March, RBK's target was to win the championship which they have failed to win in the last two seasons.

''There are still seven games left to play, and we are hopeful of catching up with the teams above us - Molde and Strømsgodset. We have back to back games against them in October and November. Those games will decide which team will win the title. We will approach those two games like cup finals,'' adds the former BK Hacken star.

Rosenborg, Norway's most titled club, won 13 straight league titles from 1992 - 2004.
