NNAMDI ODUAMADI Has Nothing But Praise For EDDY ONAZI
Published: September 28, 2012
If his rehabilitation goes according to plan, injured Nigeria international Nnamdi Oduamadi has set his sights on returning to the football pitch second week of November.
Oduamadi, who arrived Varese on loan from AC Milan this past summer window, has not played an official game for his Serie B club after having surgery on a troublesome knee in a Finnish hospital in August.
'' I am still exercising with the bicycles. Soon I shall start the next stage of my recovery process which is light running. Based on my calculations, hopefully by second week of November I will return to action,'' said the product of Flying Sport Academy Lagos to allnigeriasoccer.com.
Speaking on the recent invitation of Lazio youngster Eddy Onazi to the National Team, Oduamadi has nothing but praise for the former Under 17 vice - champion.
The diminutive winger said: ''Of course I am very happy Onazi was invited by Keshi for the Liberia game because he is a very good player. I have watched him play. His development at Lazio has been amazing. If he replicates his form for Lazio for the Super Eagles, I think he can be a regular in the team and earn future call-ups.''
Nnamdi Oduamadi injured his ligament while training with the National Team in June. His last appearance in a green and white jersey was four months ago.
