Polish League Body Bans Supporters Of Jagiellonia Bialystok For Racially Abusing UKAH

Polish League Commission has banned supporters of Jagiellonia Bialystok from attending the next three away games in groups after last week's incident involving the one - cap Nigeria international defender Ugochukwu Ukah.

Ukah and his colleagues went to traditionally thank the traveling supporters for coming to support the team in the away match against Pogo� Szczecin, and he was spat on in what is now being treated as a racist incident.

''After the incident in Szczecin, I thought, "What am I doing here? ''. After I play for these fans. Depends on me that they were happy with my work on the pitch. Was hard for me to come to terms with what has happened,'' Ukah was quoted as saying by poranny.pl.

Asked for his comments on the supporter who spat on him and allegedly made racist remarks , Ukah said: '' I do not want to talk to him at all. I do not even blame him. I think that this is a man who does not know what he says. Because he said such a sentence, you do not even want to repeat, very offensive to me. But I'm sure he can not even understand the meaning of this sentence. He knows what he's doing when he spit on me, but I do not know what he said.''

Ukah, 28, was born in Parma, Italy to Nigerian parents. He has spent five years in Poland.
