Grosseto's KENNETH OBODO Targets More Points
Published: October 07, 2012
Grosseto defensive midfielder Kenneth Obodo has commented on the reasons behind his club's last place position on the Serie B standings.
''Before the season started, Grosseto were deducted six points as a result of the gambling scandal. But we nullified the points taken from the team by the Italian Federation after five games, and hope to continue picking points to enable us climb the table.
''The President of Grosseto (Piero Camilli, ed) is very passionate about the game, and appointed a new coach Mari Somma when the team was drawing many games. And I share the vision of the president who wants the team to win every game,'' Obodo told allnigeriasoccer.com in a telephone conversation.
Against Sassuolo on Saturday, Obodo, 27, made his seventh appearance for The Little Bulls in Italy's second - tier.
