FC Cartagena On Brink Of Deal For KABIRU AKINSOLA
Published: October 07, 2012
According to our colleagues at ideal.es, former Under 17 World Cup winner Kabiru Akinsola trained with Granada on Saturday despite media reports that an agreement in principle is in place for the youngster to join FC Cartagena on a season - long loan.
Recall that Akinsola signed for Racing Santander in late August, but the contract was later terminated by both parties when it was discovered after only a week he was nursing an injury.
Therefore, it means the 21 - year -old Nigerian is technically a free agent and can join any club of his choice despite the close of the window.
If there are no hindrances, Akinsola is likely to be unveiled by FC Cartagena, Segunda B table toppers, this coming week.
