Published: October 10, 2012
Former 3SC Coach Festus Allen in the spirit of sportsmanship has congratulated the newly announced Kwara United Coach Samson Unuanel whom they contested together the plum job.
After much deliberation, the Technical Committee panel headed by Kwara State Football Association Chairman Kunle Adesiyun on Monday finally announced the Super Falcons assistant coach as the preferred candidate. Allen who was one of
the last three shortlisted for the post took it in good faith.
Allen in a chat with newsmen congratulated Unuanel, while whishing him well as the helm of the club and his subsequent
endeavours.
The former Bukola Babes Coach, strongly linked with a return to Shooting Stars, however, declared himself available for any top club who may fancy his services.
Unuanel would this week be presented to the public according to the club’s statement while activities would commence immediately with recruitment of players.
