IFA League: Immigration Maintain Unbeaten Run

The organizer of Ibadan Football Association League (IFA) has commended the football team of Nigeria Immigrations Services Oyo State Command over its impressive feat by maintaining an unbeaten run in IFA league this season.
The team has played 10 matches without losing any, amassing 24 points from seven wins and three draws which placed the team atop in the division 1 cadre of the oldest league in the country.
The Chairman of IFA, Alhaji Banji Akintayo in his appraisal of their league this season gave kudos to Immigrations FC who was the second runners-up last season.
“Immigrations team is one of the most improved and consistent team among various clubs participating in the IFA League which has over 100 participants, the team has also earned many follower-ships anytime they have matches at Olubadan Stadium”, IFA boss noted.
The handler of the team, Oladimeji Omoniyi also told newsmen in Ibadan that his team has sets its eyes on the Nationwide League saying “with help of God we are going to win IFA League and qualify to play in the Nationwide League come next season but what the team desire from Immigrations authority is an encouragement so that we can achieve the set goal”.
Omoniyi, a retired referee who had just been promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Immigrations (CSI) also added that his team who were all staff of Nigerian Immigrations Services have shown enough commitment and dedication over times that would make them succeed even in the Nationwide League.
