According to leaks gathered by our Editorial Staff, former Spain based central midfielder Fredrick Ogangan, who is now a free agent, is attracting huge interest from clubs in the domestic championship, the Nigeria Premier League.
The hierarchies at Nasarawa United, ABS, Bayelsa United, Dolphins and Akwa United are tracking Ogangan with a view of signing him before the start of the season.
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that ABS are in pole position to sign the teenage sensation dubbed 'The New Nosa Igiebor'. There has been contact between club and player, and negotiations are almost concluded.
ABS believe the former C.D. Atlético Malacitana ace is the answer to the club's deficiency in midfield and his name has been highlighted with a marker.
19 - year -old Ogangan, who trained with the Golden Eaglets back in 2009, has admitted that he wants to play in the NPL to attract the attention of scouts and enhance his chances of moving to an illustrious European club in future.
An unnamed Australian tier 2 club has also joined the scramble for Frederick Ogangan, who can cover several roles in midfield. The youngster is believed to command annual wages of €20, 000 (Four Million Naira).
