MACAULEY CHRISANTUS Mocked And Criticized In Spain

2007 Under 17 World Cup Golden Boot winner Macauley Chrisantus, despite his brace in a space of eight minutes against Guadalajara, was heavily mocked and criticized by football expert and analyst Marcos Lopez, the Spanish website disclosed.
Lopez taunted Chrisantus, stating that while the Nigeria youth - teamer was at Hamburg, he neither played in official matches nor participated in training.
UD Las Palmas are studying the situation and could lodge a public complaint against the TV station. Through his official Twitter account, Lopez has apologized for his statements on Saturday, clarifying that he meant no disrespect to the Nigerian striker.
Macauley Chrisantus is the top scorer of Las Palmas with four goals in ten matches.
