24 Home Based Players Begin Training On Sunday

Coach Stephen Keshi has invited 24 home based players to begin training on Sunday in Abuja ahead of Nigeria's friendly with Venezuela on November 14.
An analysis of the squad shows that two goalkeepers, nine defenders, five midfielders and eight offensive players have been selected by the former New Nigeria Bank libero.
Keshi has some fresh faces in the squad. For the first time, Kano Pillars' Gambo Mohammed, Kwara United's Solomon Yaya, Ugwu Uwadiegu of Enyimba, Gomo Odunku (Sharks) and midfielder Emmanuel Ajia of Lobi Stars have been invited to the national selection.
Making a return to the Eagles fold is Kano Pillars ace Gabriel Reuben, who was recently chosen the Best National Team Player and Player of the Year by some of Nigeria's respected journalists.
