Burkina Faso Will Play Angola In Portugal
Published: November 01, 2012
Nigeria's opponents in the 2013 Edition of the African Cup of Nations, Burkina Faso will trade tackles with Angola in a friendly on November 14 in Lisbon, Portugal, says A Bola.
The Antelopes had earlier been scheduled to face Cape Verde, but last month's Afcon draw pitted both countries in the same group. Hence, Burkina Faso was picked as replacement.
Portugal's choice for the friendly was the best option for both teams, as most of the players due to be called up for the tie, especially Burkina Faso, are based in Europe.
The venue for the exhibition game remains undecided at this point. Officials, after inspecting the pitches, will choose between Restelo Stadium (Belenenses), National Stadium or Estadio Jose Gomes in Amadora
