One - cap Nigeria international Ugochukwu Ukah has disclosed that Saturday's meeting against his former club in the Polish championship Widzew Åódź is a special one for him.
Recall that this summer, the Italian - Nigerian central defender left the Lodz based club to join Jagiellonia Biaystok on a two - year contract.
''I spent five years in Lodz. I remember very well this time, I'm happy with the stay. I had a lot of friends, still keep in touch with some of these friends,'' says Ukah to bialystok.gazeta.pl.
In the last two matches in the Ekstraklasa, Jagiellonia Biaystok are yet to concede a goal thanks to their improved defense. Ukah wants that form to continue this weekend and is targeting victory against his former employer.
The ex QPR man told the Polish website: ''I hope that we will continue to do so . In the last round, in Poznan, we played very well tactically. In addition, quickly scored a goal, and then we made a second and ended up very well.
''On Saturday we play consistently like last time and beat Widzew. I'll meet in the game with my friends, but on the pitch will be a struggle, competition, and I hope we win. ''
