ONYEKACHI APAM Undergoing Rehabilitation, Questionable For Venezuela Friendly
Published: November 02, 2012
On Saturday, Rennes host Reims in the 11th round of games in Ligue 1.
Onyekachi Apam, tipped to make a return to the Super Eagles fold against Venezuela in Miami, is doubtful for the reception of Reims.
The defender has not fully recovered from a thigh injury picked up in training last week. He trained with the physiotherapists on Thursday and is unlikely to be named by coach Frédéric Antonetti in his 18 - man squad.
The 25 - year - old's last game in Ligue 1 was on October 20 against Montpellier.
Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi is set to name the list of foreign based professionals invited for the exhibition game against Venezuela next week. It is now unlikely he would include the recuperating Apam on the roster.
