Westerhof In Flight Hitch
Published: November 04, 2012
Flight hitch is understood to have been responsible for the inability of former Super Eagles boss, Clemens Westerhof to arrive Nigeria November 29 for the planned U-20 football tournament billed for Oshogbo, Osun State.
Organizers have disclosed that the man who guided the Super Eagles to the 1994 Nations Cup triumph in Tunisia will now arrive the country on November 8,2012.
Westerhof is expected to lead three other European coaches and scouts including fellow Dutchman Herald Wilhelm and Italian duo of Lippi Martario and Martinez Andoni to the ancient city of Oshogbo for the 15-day football tournament aimed at discovering hidden football talents.
The U-20 football tournament has now been scheduled to kick off on November 11,2012 with Westerhof and his crew expected to arrive on November 8, 2012.
