Injured JOHN CHIBUIKE Did Not Travel To Ukraine
Published: November 06, 2012
John Chibuike has suffered a relapse of his groin injury and has been deprived from traveling with the Rosenborg squad which faces Ukrainian outfit Metalist Kharkiv in Thursday's Europa League away game.
Haakon Schwabe, medical coordinator of RBK, has commented on the physical condition of the ex BK Hacken star to the press in Norway.
''John is struggling with the groin. It's sort of on and off. He was not hurt the day before the match against Strømsgodset. There will always be an assessment of the extent of injury to Chibuike's groin, and this time he is also at home and gets treatment,'' Schwabe was quoted as saying by Aftenposten.no.
Rosenborg have lost their last two games in the Europa League. The Trondheim based club could be mathematically eliminated from the competition if they lose to Metalist and log leaders Bayer Leverkusen defeat Rapid Vienna.
