ODEMWINGIE Hails West Brom Manager
Published: November 06, 2012
Peter Odemwingie has hailed manager Steve Clark for West Brom's form in the English Premier League. On Monday night, a brace by the Nigeria international earned the Baggies a 2 - 0 win over Southampton.
''We are improving as players individually which is very important. I can see that. It is so obvious many players have improved and the manager deserves a lot of credit for that,'' Odemwingie told expressandstar.com.
He added: "His goal this season was to increase the number of passes we make and that makes you enjoy the game more and brings more excitement. We create so many chances and those things are also very encouraging.''
Since his switch from Lokomotiv Moscow in the summer of 2010, 31 - year - old Odemwingie has scored 31 goals in 69 matches in the EPL.
