AHMED MUSA Thanks Teammates For Goals
Published: November 10, 2012
Ahmed Musa has commented on CSKA Moscow's 3 - 1 victory over Kuban' Krasnodar. The Nigeria international scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season.
Championat.com citing bobsoccer.ru quoted Musa as saying: ''Thanks to my teammates for helping me score two goals today. Example, when I opened my account, got an excellent pass from Dzagoev. Today we had a lot of chances, we deservedly won.
''I think I can still improve. At least, work hard in training. Most importantly, we need to continue the winning streak. For each match go only with thoughts of success, we do everything to achieve it. The result - 12 wins in the first round and CSKA lead the table.''
The former VVV Venlo winger has been moved to the forward-line by coach Leonid Slutsky due to injuries that depleted the squad. Musa wants to continue playing in attack in the second stanza.
He told the portal: ''Ahead of the second round, I hope I will remain at CSKA front-line. I promise we will try very hard.''
