''Stephen's case is a special one. He refused two offers from foreign clubs in the summer, maybe because he wants to remain in Italy. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Italy's most respected voice on the transfer market and Sky Sport Italia journalist, Makinwa was on the wishlist of a Chinese club this past summer, but the ex FC Ebedei talent rejected a five - month contract worth 400,000 euros that was offered.
Makinwa had been linked with a move to SV Kapfenberg ,Austria in October but the transfer failed to materialize.
